ABPI Code of Practice refresher sessions

We suggest an annual ABPI Code refresh to keep you up to date with the latest Code news and cases. Even if there is no new Code, things change constantly as cases are published. We offer three types of refresher session.

• Half-day refresher session – open course
• Bespoke refresher for teams, with a tailored agenda to meet your needs.
• Monthly Code case updates.

Half-day refresher session – open course

This is a 3-hour online refresher on zoom for experienced people.  We’ll skip the basics (as you’ll know that already) and dive straight in to cover the latest Code news and key cases from the last 12 months.

Dates: 15 May 2024, 10 July 2024 and 5 Sept 2024
Times: 2pm – 5pm (UK time)
The sessions are not recorded.

Agenda:  We’ll focus on the big Code topics – principles, promotion v non-promotion, meetings and events, using clinical data and digital (websites and social media).  But we’ll also give you some pre-recorded videos giving a reminder about the importance of the Code just in case you need them.  There is a key points handout, course assessment and certificate.

Bespoke refresher for teams

We can run a bespoke refresher session for you.  You decide the topics or pick the cases and we’ll give a tailored update. Get in touch for more information.

Monthly Code case update sessions

If you’re wanting a continual update on the Code, explore our Code case update webinars.

Our Code case update membership gives monthly updates covering all the latest cases through a 60 minute webinar.  We’ll read the cases and pull out the key learning points for you, so that you’re completely up to date.
